Image stealing on the internet

Did you find a picture, whose author you are, on the internet?
Against third parties who use your pictures without permission you have claims to cease and desist, disclosure and damages. In order to liquidate the damages you are entitled to we normally apply the MFM-tariffs (photo marketing association). On top, courts usually grant a 100% supplement if the infringer has used the photographs without mentioning its author. As long as the proceeding against the infringer in or outside court is legitimate, the counterpart has to refund all legal costs.

If you find your picture in the internet or in a traditional print medium we suggest that you contact us as soon as possible. We then contact the infringer and take care of the enforcement of your rights. In case we cannot reach a satisfying settlement with the infringer out of court, we might, upon consultation with you, promote a legal action. In order to apply for a preliminary injunction we need to act within a few weeks upon knowledge of the infringment, otherwise courts will dismiss the action due to lack of urgency. Therefore you should contact us as soon as possible.
However, we will inform you in advance about all costs that might arise, so that you do not have to fear bad surprises.
