Frido Kent (Attorney-at-law)

Frido Kent studied law in Constance and Istanbul. After completing his studies, he first worked for the Federal Foreign Office in the legal department of the German Embassy in Jordan. He then completed his legal traineeship with stations including the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin. After successfully passing the second state examination and being admitted as a lawyer, he initially worked for the law firm White & Case in the area of Commercial Litigation & Disputes Resolution before joining Thomas Rechtsanwälte in 2021.

At our firm, Frido Kent advises German and international start-ups and scale-ups mainly on corporate and general civil law. He supports our clients from the founding phase through the start of operations to the first financing rounds and beyond.

In addition, Frido Kent also advises our clients on migration law and other administrative procedures, such as public procurement and subsidy law.

He is continuing his education in the field of mergers & acquisitions and is currently completing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and specialist lawyer course in commercial and corporate law.

In his free time, he likes to go road cycling, try out new restaurants or try his hand at cooking at home.
